Chalis Henderson

Turning Point Community Development Corporation

Chalis is a native of Warren County, NC and serves as the Executive Director of Turning Point Community Development Corporation and Church Administrator of Oasis of Hope Ministries both located in Henderson, NC.  Chalis believes that individuals and communities can thrive and flourish when they are equipped with the appropriate tools and resources for success. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from UNC Charlotte and Master’s in Student Affairs Administration from Michigan State University.  She is a 2019 graduate of the Rural Economic Development Institute hosted by the NC Rural Center.
